Heritage Economic and Regeneration Trust - Website & Content Management System

Norwich HEART needed an adaptable, modern website for an exciting new project, we produced it for them…

Norwich Heritage Economic and Regeneration Trust (HEART) is a private, charitable company set up as an umbrella organisation for the wealth of historical properties in Norwich.

HEART strategically plans, regenerates, manages and promotes Norwich‘s heritage resources and acts as a best practice case study nationally and internationally in developing heritage as a means towards social and economic regeneration.

The Challenge

HEART required a website for its ‘Norwich 12’ initiative. The website needed to be clean, modern and easy to use, and members of HEART needed to be able to update and manage the website and its content on a regular basis.

The Solution

After defining the objectives of the project with HEART, we created a website design for approval. This followed the organisation’s branding guidelines and provided a useable, accessible site for members of the public.

We adapted our in-house Content Management System (CMS) to suit HEART’s needs. The user-friendly software does not require expert training and HEART can update text, images and video as required, adding or removing pages and publishing its latest news.

The End Result

• HEART can easily keep the public up to date with the city’s heritage and news
• Visitors have access to a rich source of content and information
• The iconic buildings of Norwich can be promoted as an internationally important showcase of English urban and cultural development over the last 1,000 years
• Costs and time involved in maintaining the website are reduced to a minimum
